What are the sizes/dimensions of Kitty Sift™ Large and Jumbo trays?
Size LARGE sifting liners are 14” wide x 18” long by 4” high.
Size JUMBO sifting liners are 17.25″ wide x 20.5″ long x 5.25″ high.
When stacked in 4, 8 or 12 layers they are slightly taller depending upon how many added layers. The high shield lid adds approximately 3-4” around the sides and 1” in the entryway.
Can Kitty Sift™ sifting trays be reused?
Yes, Kitty Sift™ sifting liners can be reused before disposing. Frequent sifting will help keep trays clean and fresh.
How do I re-stack Kitty Sift™ trays for reuse?
Each opposite tray needs to be oriented 180 degrees to create a barrier. (See side cutout notches for assistance– orient so that every other sifting tray has a cutout notch.)
Re-stack under the lowest sifting tray in correct orientation OR re-stack underneath the base tray ensuring to rotate each re-stacked tray 180 degrees.
Can Kitty Sift™ be used as a stand alone litter box?
Yes, Kitty Sift™ trays can be used as stand alone disposable litter boxes. Our high shield lid and base tray help to minimize litter scatter.
Can Kitty Sift™ be placed inside existing trays and/or hoods and used as sifting liners?

Should I order 4, 8 or 12 layers?
Choose how often you wish to use, reuse and/or dispose the sifting trays. Our Kitty Sift™ trays can be sifted and reused, restacked multiple times per day. Or they can be used once and disposed. We are proud to offer eco-friendly litter box solutions so that you can make a guilt-free choice that fits your lifestyle. Sift and dispose, or sift and reuse – you choose!
If you order 12 layers you would dispose 3 trays per week, 8 layers dispose 2 trays per week, 4 layers dispose 1 tray per week.
Do you struggle to maintain the box daily? If you maintain the box every other day- order 12 layers and lift/sift to dispose 3 trays per week. Maybe you maintain twice a week (i.e. Wednesday and Saturday?) order 8 layers. 1x per week order 4 layers.
Or maybe you’ll continue to scoop and will sift for a fresh clean new layer once a week to avoid scrubbing.

Our Kitty Sift™ cat litter was carefully selected for maximum odor and bacteria control, is an all-natural material that offers superior clumping, is sourced from environmentally friendly means and is processed in the most gentle, natural way possible. Our Kitty Sift™ litter uses a blend of 100% all natural Sodium Bentonite Clay for hard clumps and Probiotics for maximum odor control. The combination makes a low dust litter with clean easy removal of clumps and is ideal for multi-cat households and with our patent pending Kitty Sift™ sifting trays.
Is your product earth-friendly?
We care deeply about the environment and are committed to the health and safety of our customers and their pets by sourcing and selling products that will maintain a clean, healthy indoor environment for the pet and the household.
Kitty Sift ™ products are made from eco-friendly, 99% post consumer waste recycled cardboard, a biodegradable and compostable material in correct conditions.
Our trays are plastic free. It is advised by veterinarian professionals to dispose and replace plastic litter boxes at least once per year due to the potential growth of harmful bacteria and to completely scrub clean the litter box once per month. Kitty Sift ™ Disposable Sifting Litter Box and Sifting Liners eliminate the need for plastic litter trays ending in landfills. Kitty Sift ™ trays also eliminates the need for plastic liners.
Do I need to lift and sift every day?
We recommend that the litter box be maintained as often as possible. Many veterinarians recommend twice per day. Not doing so may cause your cats to avoid the litter box which can be the beginning of litter box issues. A dirty litter box can cause many health issues.
Our Kitty Sift™ probiotic cat litter helps work even when you can’t to combat odor and bacteria And, our breathable trays help eliminate ammonia buildup.
We have subscribers who sift multiple times a day, and with multiple cats it becomes more important.
